Provincial Credit Solutions (PCS) was established in September 2001 following the decision by RMG Ltd to rationalize its regional branch network. Frans Bos (our Managing Director) was the then Warrnambool Branch Manager with over 30 years experience in the industry at the time.  That experience continues today along with the growth in our business.

Operating as a subsidiary of Frans Bos & Associates Pty Ltd, the decision to establish PCS was based on Frans’ experience that regional businesses prefer to deal locally. Collection results and service are improved by virtue of local collection staff knowledge and understanding the local debtors / community.

2002 saw the inception of Barwon Credit Management (BCM) is also a testament to the ongoing commitment we have for our clients in providing local services. PCS is based in Warrnambool and BCM is based in Geelong; together they continue to offer clients a wide range of products and services with exceptional customer service and collection results.

The advancement of technological solutions to the debt collection industry further means that the region-based credit management service providers can operate off the same systems with similar efficiencies to major metropolitan suppliers. It also means that we can assist in collections across the country.

The expertise of our in-house solicitors allows us to not only provide a fast, efficient and effective service when dealing with court lodgements, but it has also contributed to the speedy collection of debts. Through lodging court documents at the nearest location to the client we can arrange for a fast and effective service process once they are ready for completion.

PCS & BCM also have the added benefit of being local and aware of the current political environment and publicity towards clients. We are also aware of the financial hardship facing the community and surrounding areas. The protection of our client’s brand, image and customer base is important to PCS & BCM.

Being aware of what is happening in the community in regards to the provision of services, the growth of businesses and the support they receive are all concerns of ours and a topic we continue to focus on. Our regular contact and meetings with clients ensures that we are aware of what issues are impacting the payment of accounts across the board.

The extensive client base of PCS & BCM covers many different industries and sectors ranging from medical services, government, agricultural, construction, financial services and education. We currently have a client base of over 400 businesses which we certainly expect to continually grow and service. Our collection activities are provided to national companies and we can provide our services and conduct collection in all states.

Experience
Frans Bos (Managing Director) - has worked within the Debt Recovery industry for the past 30 years in the Western District of Victoria and the South East of South Australia. Frans has lived in Warrnambool for most of his life - barring the nine years interstate – and has been actively involved in the local community and sporting clubs during this time.

Frans is committed to giving local businesses a service that is professional and results driven, supplied to them by local people.

Experienced Staff
As a part of our business plan we have staffed our business anticipating (through past experiences and concise planning) that we will be able to attract local business’s to use a local service.

All the collection staff at Provincial Credit Solutions have in one capacity or another supplied debt collection services to Local Councils, Water Authorities and commercial organisations throughout Western Victoria and the South East and SA over many years.
